The University of Hertfordshire continues to be one of the top 100 universities in the world under 50 times old and is presently 71st in post 1964 UK universities. In the rearmost Research Excellence Framework, 90 of submitted exploration was judged to be of transnational quality, while History was rated first in the UK in terms of impact. 57 of Hertfordshire’s submitted exploration was judged to be of world- leading and internationally excellent quality across all 12 units.

In certain subject areas this was indeed advanced, with Psychology carrying a 100 4 * exploration impact standing.

In overall exploration excellence, over three – diggings of exploration (78) at the University has now been rated ‘world- leading’ (4 *) and ‘ internationally excellent ’( 3 *), compared to 57 in 2014. This has sustained the University’s rise of 21 places up the overall public rankings to 62nd place.
