They are entitled to work for up to 2 years without any renewable or transfer of their rights. Under the Irish Third-Level Graduate Scheme, students can apply for a work permit or green card to remain in Ireland. Unlike work permits, graduates can apply for permanent residence after two years without any labour market needs test.
